I love how my world history teacher started having us read “6 Glasses” which talks about drinks and their connection to history. This video could not have come at a better time.
Edit: She also added it to one of the assignments to watch.

Fun Fact: Ross was supposed to be the main character of Friends.

Technically, carrots are good for your eyesight, it's just that there's nothing that makes them anymore good than any other vegetable.

I have epilepsy. And though my meds control my seizures quite decently, I still have one every now and then. The worst part is that I bite my tongue. Badly. As it, if you saw my tongue, you'd be able to see the scars. But one time, I was offered medical cannabis in the form of a lozenge. And let me just say, I can't support the idea of medical cannabis enough. The pain was gone. Not subdued or lessened. Gone. Cannabis was able to do what not even Vicodin could do (and yes, I've taken Vicodin as a pain reliever before).

A good theory idea is “is it possible to pop a perfect bag of popcorn?” That would be fun

This means that in Hamilton in the song “The Story of Tonight” they aren’t drinking beer. They are drinking coffee!!

The second MatPat said that “it’s well received by young generations and disliked by older generations” I practically yelled marijuana. Personally, I believe the usage of marijuana would provide the world with a mix of effects. Some people would be able to chill out and others would be able to hype up and get more active per say. I feel like doing a food theory on the usage of edibles (or marijuana products in general) would be interesting as a way to understand how marijuana can be used in a helpful way and that it is in fact not as harmful as it may seem when used safely.

Can't believe you didn't mention The Netherlands which legalized recreational cannabis in 1976, a full 40 years before Uruguay, the first country you mention 👀 I mean I thought if Amsterdam was known for one thing it'd be legal weed and the red light district (okay that's two but I think they're tied for first place), for better or for worse

This explains why my country, Mexico struggles culturally.
People are prone to consume depressants. The one mentioned in this video is something far too common.
Binge drinking is a constant issue.

I despise Coffee, as I'm more of a Tea man myself, but this video was a great insight into how a beverage or beverages can influence something so significant like science.
