Girls' freedom isn't limited to the concept bollywood shows (s*x), it is about her becoming confident to achieve something in her life (and sleeping with someone isn't an achievement)

Please open up your mind. Stop shaming girls (we want to make a better career, which is beyond your narrow mentality) and stop misguiding young girls that freedom means to have it with anyone.

Does freedom of women is just that they can have sex with whomever they want to even though they’re married? Bollywood logic is out of this world.

Dolly Kitty aur woh chamakte sitaare. Search reviews for this movie and you'd see titles such as "sex ka tamasha". Here's my review, about two years ago I moved to Greater Noida with my aunt Dolly. Why did i move there? Because someone my father trusted had sexually assaulted me and my father refused to say a word to him. I just wanted to move. Go anywhere and never see his face again. I wanted to live on my own but my aunt Dolly said Greater Noida was a rapidly developing city where I could get tons of jobs and make a life for myself. And so I did. My phupha (aunt's husband) told me he'd never ask for money from me because I'm like his daughter but then I found out within a month that he only wanted me to work at a call centre so I could pay him rent for a very small room and completely drop my studies to save all the money for the rent. I admit I was young and naive. It's safe to say Noida like all other cities is only a joy for the privileged and the media rarely highlights the people like Kitty. My phupha also regularly beats my aunt but she never left him because her children were little and he'd apologise and promise to change just like Amit in the end of this movie. And most girls would be lying if they said that their first time with their boyfriend was amazing because most boys believe sex is over when they climax. And getting arrested for just sitting with your boyfriend/ just a friend in a public place, yes lete act like this never happens in India. As for the people who believe everyone has to be confined to gender roles, don't you think it's sick that your genitals decide whether you can play with a car toy or a doll? Hell I loved cars when I was little. I'm not trans. But why can't boys like pink and play with dolls? I do think there was some very weird things about this movie. But you know why sex ends up being the most highlighted part of a women's life? Because girls are extremely sexualised. You don't have to believe me. Just look around you. Cheating is wrong. But so is yanking to a call girls voice in the bathroom when you have a wife. So is touching someone without consent. So is taking Dahej and calling it a gift. So is having to stitch up your hymen before marriage because your husband wants no less than a virgin.

Well I appreciate that the film has talented actors, but since when cheating on your husband is women empowerment??? If you're unhappy in a marriage, just end it!! Why commit adultery!!??!

These are some really nasty things that bollywood always shows us in the name of feminism. It will impact on the mentality of some (a lot) teenagers and they will start thinking that this is the freedom. on bollywood

Why is every second web series/movie about horny, lusting Indians? Not just talking about Netflix India here. Are we not demanding enough as audiences or have all of us shifted to foreign entertainment? Coz most of the makers seem to be churning out the same crap. This will get the best necessary likes and views here. After a week, terrible/vulgar/etc will trend on Twitter. And on to the next one.

Cheating in a marriage DOES NOT EQUAL TO "Embracing Freedom"
