ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti and Alejandro Moreno share their thoughts on Ronald Koeman's first win with Barcelona and Luis Suarez's debut win with Atletico Madrid. Marcotti focuses on Luis Suarez's link up play with Joao Felix for Atletico Madrid, saying their relationship is encouraging for Diego Simeone..

It's smart actually.... Don't involve Messi in the build up as much as possible for the other players to grow, especially Coutinho needs more responsibility .....Messi can flip the switch easily if needed.

I'm surprised Barcelona played better defensively.

It's not just today, fati has established himself as the best youngest player in the world, after his second game for Spain with a man of the match performance, Luis Enrique said it's not normal for a 17 year old to be so much experienced and calm. He's the future.

The world was watching and waiting for Barcelona to fail, especially with the great debut Suarez had. Sorry to disappoint. Also, it is the media and so called pundits that imply Barcelona can't play without Messi. Messi of course makes the team better but if you actually look at Barcelona's record when Messi doesn't play, it's pretty good. Players have mostly stepped up to the plate in his absence. It also amazes me that when Barcelona plays well against a team and scores lots of goals it's because that opponent was "poor". How about just give credit to the superior team on the day. The only other thing Villareal could have done to have a chance in this game was to park the bus.

Real madrid looking very shaky not gonna lie, but this la liga is probably gonna be the most interesting one since the early 2000's.

Remember people used to say Madrid wonโ€™t win with VAR now we need to get rid of VAR to see if they win

Felix and Suarez didn't link up. When one went off, the other came on. Another classic moment from ESPN hack fc...

Coutinho good work really going to help us

Ofc there is always a "But" when it comes to barca, and it's always the other teams playing badly, byt when other teams win because of Var or performing well against freaking Granada, they are amazing and have a better shot at winning laliga, what a biased channel.
