His footwork from his last preseason tape was definitely improved....He was sliding. Away from pressure. He was climbing the pocket to throw. He was shifting from one side to the other.
Keeping a nice throwing base for accurate passes. He was scrambling to throw not to run. Its obvious the guy has worked on his craft. Hes not the same old guy. Yall are missing on that. Its exciting cause he obviously hungry to get better. Love yalls show. Not trying to be a hater.

Payton loves gadget plays, loves the spotlight that comes with it. Is Taysom the guy? Can he withstand a full season taking that punishment? Maybe he'll be the bridge to the next QB. Maybe. Maybe not.

I like Taysom but not as the QB1 for 16-20 games a season. The man is old by first time starter standards because he’s gonna be 31 before next season, and he has an extensive injury history in his lower body. He’s good enough to win games now because we’ve amassed a good roster from top to bottom, but if he’s our QB over the next year or two, I see those years as rebuilding years.
