A Guide To The Different Types Of Tequila

#Clayton tequila #distillers #how tequila is made #mexico #Howto & Style
When I set out to learn about tequila, I asked professionals in the distilling industry who would be the right person to teach me all about the Different varieties of tequila? The name Clayton from La Cata came up over and over again. This was such an amazing experience and this video is my reference and guide for tequila as Clayton explained everything perfectly for me to grasp and hopefully you will use it in the same manner as well..
La Cataโ€™s tasting room is a must visit if you travel to Tequila, Jalisco. It houses a library of familiar and rare tequilas, mezcals, and sotols. Their tasting flights are structured around three or more spirits designed to enable you to make comparisons based on production method, region, producer, or any number of other factors. Enjoy a mixed flight with the assistance and advice of their Agave Guides. The size of La Cataโ€™s agave spirits selection and their staffโ€™s knowledge make the possibilities for exploration and discovery nearly limitless.
No matter where you are on your tequila journey โ€“ a newcomer to the tequila world, someone who regularly enjoys sipping spirits, or an aficionado with years of knowledge โ€“ La Cata has the experience for you. Their love of tequila will help you discover yours.
FYI........Some additional information about the episode, When I say โ€œbirthplace of the drink that bears its nameโ€ - the tradition is born in what is now Amatitรกn, although at the time (1620-1640) that town was part of the canton of Tequila..

My takeaway from this is if I drink the first half of the bottle one night, the responsible thing to do is drink the other half the next night? Thatโ€™s some advice I can get behind

You have scratched the surface of Mexico! Once you learn Tequila, explore Mezcal, the scotch of Mexico. I travel to Tijuana for business monthly, so much good food and drink to experience in that culture!

As being Scottish I had to bite my tongue, as these chaps might pull it out where my Adams Apple used to be before beheading me while burning in a car tyre fire.
